Guarantee Conditions

The following conditions must be met to qualify for the applicable spares guarantee.

  • Installation must be completed by a qualified, approved air-conditioner installer.
  • Services must be completed by an accredited air-conditioning company. Service charges are separate and are not included in the original purchase or installation price.
  • The air-conditioner must be serviced twice during the first 12 months, at intervals of approximately 6 months from the installation or purchase date.
  • After the first year, the air-conditioner must be serviced every 12 months for the remaining guarantee period.
  • Electrical connections to the air-conditioning unit must be approved and correctly completed.
  • The customer is responsible for arranging services when they become due.
  • The air-conditioner must be correctly sized according to:
    • The room or office floor area.
    • Additional heating and cooling loads.
  • Proof of installation, servicing and other required maintenance may be needed when a guarantee claim is submitted.
