MID-WALL SPLIT UNITS / SYSTEMS 

Mid wall split units /system needs to be affixed (installed) to a wall. They get the name "split unit/system" from the way they are constructed - with half of the unit mounted inside the home / office, and the other half mounted outside.

Includes:
  • Evaporator (indoor- unit) mounted to inside wall of room / office.
  • Condenser (outdoor-unit) mounted onto a set of brackets, on same outside wall within a 3 meter radius from evaporator (indoor-unit).
  • Condenser (outdoor-unit) mounted on floor within 3 meters from inside.
  • Installation time approximately 2-3 hours.
  • Installation options only available for Gauteng (Johannesburg, Pretoria and surrounding areas).

Excludes:
  • In case of condensation water not able to not drain freely from indoor unit (Evaporator) to outside, a condensation pump will be required at an extra charge.
  • Electrical connections for air-conditioners to be carried out by a qualified electrician from distribution board (not included in installation charges).
  • Installation outside Gauteng areas.

CASSETTE SPLIT UNITS / SYSTEMS 

Cassette split units /system needs to be affixed (installed) to a ceiling. They get the name "split unit/system" from the way they are constructed - with half of the unit mounted into a ceiling inside the home / office, and the other half mounted outside. 

Includes:
  • Evaporator (indoor-unit) mounted to ceiling of room / office.
  • Condenser (outdoor-unit) mounted onto a set of brackets, on an outside wall within 5 meters from evaporator (indoor-unit).
  • Condenser (outdoor-unit) mounted on floor within 5 meters from evaporator (indoor-unit).
  • Cassette split units / systems are manufactured with a built-in condensation pump and therefore do not require a free running drain line to the outside of the room/office.
  • Installation time approximately 2-3 hours.
  • Installation options only available for Gauteng (Johannesburg, Pretoria and surrounding areas).

Excludes:
  • Electrical connections for air-conditioners to be carried out by a qualified electrician from distribution board (not included in installation charges).

Includes:
  • Evaporator (indoor-unit) mounted to inside wall of room / office.
  • Condenser (outdoor-unit) mounted onto a set of brackets outside AND WHERE THE CONDENSER (OUTDOOR-UNIT) NEEDS TO BE EXTENDED TO:
    • - The same wall (of indoor-unit): More than 3 meters from inside.
    • - Different wall (of indoor-unit): More than 3 meters from inside.
    • - Mounted on floor: More than 3 meters from inside.
  • Condensation water to drain freely from indoor unit to outside.
  • Installation time approximately 3-5 hours.
  • Installation options only available for Gauteng (Johannesburg, Pretoria and surrounding areas).

Excludes:
  • In case of condensation water not able to drain freely from indoor unit (Evaporator) to outside, a condensation pump will be required at an extra charge.
  • All required materials more than 3 meters to be charged separately per meter thereafter.

    • - More than 5 meters from evaporator (indoor-unit).
  • Cassette split units / systems are manufactured with a built-in condensation pump and therefore do not require a free running drain line to the outside of the room / office.
  • Installation time approximately 4-6 hours.
  • Installation options only available for Gauteng (Johannesburg, Pretoria and surrounding areas).

Excludes:
  • All required materials more than 5 meters to be charged separately per meter thereafter.
  • Electrical connections for air-conditioners to be carried out by a qualified electrician from distribution board (not included in installation charges).
